About Me

I am broadly interested in urban and community sociology, the sociology of housing, civil society organizations, and social networks. My research is motivated by questions about the entrenched and evolving roles nonprofits and philanthropy play in responding to homelessness, poverty, and social inequality in America.

Currently, I am a Lecturer on Sociology at Harvard University, where I also completed my PhD. I will be on the academic job market this fall (2026).
